AI Agents
Minoo uses AI agents to draft emails, analyze prospects, and make decisions. You can customize how these agents work to match your preferences.
What Are Agents?
Agents are specialized AI workers that handle different tasks:
| Agent | Purpose |
|---|---|
| Drafting Agent | Writes email content |
| Research Agent | Finds information about prospects |
| Scoring Agent | Evaluates prospect fit |
Each agent can be configured independently.
Accessing Agent Settings
- Go to Agents in the sidebar
- Select the agent you want to configure
Agent Configuration
Drafting Agent
The drafting agent writes your emails. You can adjust:
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| System Prompt | The core instructions that guide the agent. Advanced users can customize this, but the default works well for most use cases. |
| Temperature | Controls creativity vs. consistency: 0.0-0.3 (very consistent), 0.4-0.6 (balanced, recommended), 0.7-1.0 (more creative) |
| Model | The AI model used. Options depend on what's available. Larger models are more capable but slower. |
Most users don't need to change agent settings. The defaults are tuned for quality email outreach.
System Prompts
The system prompt tells the agent how to behave. It includes:
- Your business context (from Business Profile)
- Writing guidelines
- Formatting rules
- Personalization instructions
Viewing the Prompt
- Open the agent
- Click View System Prompt
- See the full prompt with your business context injected
Editing the Prompt
For advanced users:
- Click Edit System Prompt
- Make your changes
- Click Save as New Version
Editing system prompts can significantly change output quality. Make small changes and test thoroughly. You can always revert to the default.
Prompt Versioning
Minoo keeps track of prompt versions:
- See history of changes
- Compare versions
- Revert to previous versions
- Test changes before making them active
Temperature Guide
| Setting | Best For | Example Output |
|---|---|---|
| 0.2 | Formal, consistent | Very predictable, similar emails |
| 0.5 | Balanced | Natural variation, reliable quality |
| 0.8 | Creative, varied | Surprising approaches, occasional misses |
Start with the default (usually 0.5-0.6) and only adjust if you notice issues with variety or consistency.
Agent Memory
Agents build memory about:
- Prospects: Information learned about specific contacts
- Campaigns: Context about ongoing campaigns
- Your Preferences: Patterns from your edits
Viewing Memory
- Open a contact or campaign
- Look for the Agent Memory section
- See what the agent "remembers"
Memory and Personalization
When drafting an email, the agent recalls:
- Past interactions with this prospect
- Notes you've added
- Information from discovery
- Similar prospects it's written to
This context makes emails more personal and relevant over time.
Agent Traces
For transparency, you can see the agent's reasoning:
What's in a Trace
When an agent completes a task, it records:
- Summary: What it did
- Confidence: How confident it is (percentage)
- Considerations: What it thought about
- Factors: Key information it used
Accessing Traces
Traces appear in:
- Email draft reviews (AI Reasoning section)
- Discovery results (how it evaluated matches)
- Agent activity log
Best Practices
Trust the Defaults
Default settings are optimized for quality outreach. Only change them if you have a specific reason and understand the implications.
Test Changes Carefully
If you modify system prompts, test on a small campaign first. Bad prompts can produce bad emails at scale.
Use Temperature Thoughtfully
If emails feel too samey, try slightly higher temperature. If they're too unpredictable, lower it. Small adjustments (0.1) can make a difference.
Let Memory Build
Agent memory improves over time. The more you use Minoo, the better it understands your prospects and preferences.
Check Traces for Issues
If an email seems off, check the trace. You'll often find the agent made a reasonable decision based on wrong information — which you can correct.
Resetting Agents
If something goes wrong:
Reset to Default Prompt
- Open the agent
- Click Reset to Default
- Confirm
This reverts the system prompt to Minoo's default.
Clear Agent Memory
If memory has bad data:
- Go to the specific prospect or campaign
- Click Clear Memory
- Confirm
Clearing memory means the agent forgets everything it learned. Use sparingly.
